In 2008, Marlene became the lead 3-D Design instructor; this greatly influences her current work.  She has been exploring the idea of "printmaking" while using white clay and black slip.  It allows her the best of both worlds, mark-making and shaping clay.  Marlene has recently rediscovered working in her visual journal.  This recent discovery has led to her latest series of drawings.

 

Marlene continues to make art and teach her students to love the process of creating.
